Free L9 Poles: A little love from L9 to you in the form of a free composite Levelninesports.com ski pole. A comparable pole retails for $60 and we sell these for $24 normally. This free pole is for a few select skis as a little sweetener on the already lowest price.
Atomic XTL9 Bindings Included: The XTL9 bindings are primarily a women's binding (will be found basically exclusively on Atomic lady's wheels.) These are a superlight track-style binding that will adjust in a range of 260mm-370mm boot sole lengths. This is roughly a US Women's size 4-16, also known as 'everyone'. DIN: 2.5-9- This is a suitable range for all recreational skiers from about 80lbs-200lbs.
Ideal Target Skier: Casual Cruiser: Sticking mainly to the groomed runs and always keeping speed in check, a Casual Cruiser doesn't even bother with the off trail snow, moguls, jumps, etc. Dura Edge: Treated solid steel edge holds up to abuse well. The hardness of the steel will keep its sharpness for a long time, and reduces the need to get your edges sharpened as often. UHMW Electra Graphite: Ultra High Molecular Weight means the base material is very dense and very hard. This makes the base resistant to scratches from rocks and other things your bases might run into. Hard bases such as this glide very well (that means they're fast), but do require more frequent waxing than inferior cheaper bases for maximum performance. Cap Construction: The topsheet of this ski drapes over the edge to form a clean and rounded finish to the side of the ski. This style of construction adds some torsional rigidity, and helps reduce topsheet chipping when the skis hit each other.
Textured Surface: Ideal for repelling wear and tear on the skis surface. Textured ski surfaces are rough surfaces to the ski that hide or repel scratches keep your skis look new long after they are not. Originally designed for rental skis for obvious reasons, this surface is now available on a wide variety of retail skis as well since everyone likes their skis to look nice.
Multi-cell core: This synthetic core reduces the weight of the ski, to reduce fatigue for all day skiers. The ski is able to turn easier and quicker, and only loses a minimal amount of torsional rigidity. Women's Flex Zones: Four regions in the tip and tail area aid the skier by influencing the way the ski turns. Essentially with these skis it is exceptionally easy to 'smear' your turns, which is the first way that beginners start to control their speed and navigate down the mountain in control. The flex zones also make initiating carved turns easier for when the skier progresses to that level.
Women's Heel Lift: These skis will have your heels slightly raised in comparison to your toes. The point of this is to help keep you in a natural, athletic posture, reducing strain and fatigue on the spine and lower-back muscles. Square Tail: These skis have a square shaped tail, which adds stability to turns on hardpack as well as very steep terrain. Probably not a park ski, though :) |
