Atomic Medium Flex Boot: This snowboard boot as a medium stiff forward flex, which means it was meant for all-mountain riding at a variety of speeds. Unlike ski boots, even beginners can hop into a stiff snowboard boot and be comfortable, but the ideal rider here is one that wants a blend of comfort and performance. Speed Power Lacing: The quickest and easiest method of lacing out there, simply pull up to cinch the liner, and then pull up on the outer tongue to cinch up the outer boot. This lacing system is different from the Power Lace Pro because there are no lace locks for the outer laces. This boot will give a firm, uniform feel throughout the boot.
Dual Zone Sport Fit Liner: This is a comfy but techy liner; the 3D tongue combines high and low density EVA for maximum comfort and forward response. Also there is dual density EVA in the ankle zone and internal bars of self molding high density memory foam throughout the boot for a customized fit.
3 Component Outsole: While not quite as stiff and rugged as the 4 component outsole, having the outsole a composite of 3 parts allows Atomic to put extra material where the rider needs high flex and durability, and less material where the rider would prefer less weight and a more casual flex.
Pull to Close Liner: This liner has a pull-tab loop that can be used as a quick cinch of the inner liner over your instep. The purpose for this is to be used right before a hairy run, or more likely, after you come back from your lunch break and you have your laces loosened up, just yank on the Pull-to-Close loop for a casual fit that still holds your heel and ankle in place. |
