Atomic 2012 Live Fit LF 80 Ski Boots

Atomic's Live Fit 80 is the 80 flex entry into the Live Fit lineup, obviously! The 80 flex is about middle of the spectrum, making it perfect for some hard skiing, but still forgiving enough for intermediate skiers. The Live Fit boots use the 2 mega buckle system (as opposed to a traditional 4 buckle boot), which makes the boot lighter and since the buckles are wider, they are also easier to fasten and unfasten. The Live Fit boots also use the Live Fit technology, which are elastic zones on the sides of the instep that allows the shell to change width based on the skier's foot. This is a very comfortable, cutting edge techie boot, can't really go wrong here.

Free Boot Bag: This 2012 Ski Boot is already rock bottom price. But that's not enough we are also going to send you a free boot bag. Make sure you choose your preference from the dropdown above.

80 Flex Index: This boot has a flex rating of 80, which is moving out of the softer-entry level boots and into the stiffer more advanced ski boots. A boot of this flex is appropriate for a wide range of skiers, from lower intermediates looking to improve to expert skiers who want a more casual flex.

Atomic 102-106 Last102-106mm Last: This shell width of this boot is automatically adjustable (thanks to the Live Fit System), and is perfect for recreational skiers, those with average to wide feet, and skiers that like comfort for their feet. That probably makes up 95 percent of the skiing population.

Atomic Live FitLive Fit: The Live Fit system consists of two elastic zones at the forefoot that instantly adapt to the foot width of the skier. The shell adapts between 102 and 106mm, providing a custom type fit without the hassle of heat molding and expensive shell modifications. Basically, this feature makes these boots fit almost any skier.

Mega Buckles: Instead of the standard 4 buckle system (or sometimes 3), this boot has two oversized buckles that get the same pulling power and fit, with less stuff to worry about. One buckle over the top of the foot- done, one buckle above the ankle- done... Time to start skiing.

Single Micro Excenter canting: Single canting on the outside of the ankle that will help correct an uneven ski platform. The adjuster stays right in the center, and pivots the boot without changing the fit or flex of the boot.

Macro adjust ladder (SuperMacro): The tooth plate opposite the top buckles can be moved in or out for a huge range of adjustment, and to fit narrow to wide lower legs.

Ski Boot Tongue PullTongue Pull: A loop of fabric at the top of the tongue helps in putting on and removing the boots. Pull it forward and to the side and your foot should slide right in.

Replaceable Toe and Heel Pads: This is a must-have for skiers that don't live in ski in/ski out condos. When your ski tech tells you that you have to buy new boots because the soles are worn down too much, just laugh at him and tell him to order you a new set of sole plates.

Atomic ASY Sport Liner: Atomic's ASY (Asymmetrical) Sport liner is a bit softer than the highest end Atomic liner, but this is essentially the second best one. These boots are ergonomically fitted, liner can be thermomolded to your foot, with specific adjustments in ankle and forefoot areas. Also its fuzzy and warm. You should be pretty damn comfy in these.
