Atomic 2012 PIQ Lady Women's Snowboard

Sale: $0.00
Retail: $289.00

Atomic's 2012 PIQ Lady boards are just as rugged and durable as the PIQ ETR, as these were also made for rental fleets. The PIQ Lady boards have more feminine graphics, and are slightly softer (and therefore better for lighter riders, i.e. women). The PIQ Lady board is ideal for beginner to intermediate skiers looking for a durable, Easy-To-Ride board that will last a good 10 years, whether you ski 3 times per winter or 30 times per winter.

$9 Special: It may be $9 or $19 or $199, in any case these items are the last one or two in our inventory and we just want them out as they are taking up space. These products won't last long so be sure to be quick on the trigger. As these items will sell out quickly, they are available for internet purchase only (we won't be able to show them to you at our retail store.)

Atomic Board Flex Rating: 3: Atomic's Flex Ratings go from 2 (soft) to 8 (stiff), so this board is on the lower end of stiffness. Softer boards require less muscle to turn, and will be smooth and stable at a lower range of speeds. Soft snowboards are also much easier to manhandle in the halfpipe and terrain park. At a rating of 3, this rider would most likely be a beginner to intermediate rider, or a more advanced rider looking for a fun, easy terrain park board.

Atomic's Pop Rocker ET (Easy Turn): Atomic Pop Rocker ET is the best rocker profile for the snowboarders who are just learning, as the rockered sections in the tip and tails make the board easier to turn (requires less power from the rider), and also make the tips and tails virtually immune to edge catching. For riders looking to gain confidence, this is definitely the rocker of choice from Atomic.

3 Degree (Easy to Ride) Bevel:
The 3 degree bevel minimizes edge catching and builds confidence via a shortened learning curve.

Graphite Rental Base: This ultra durable, ultra rugged base will require very little maintenance, which is great for kids that are...adventurous to say the least. Also if you're planning on passing a snowboard down from kid to kid, this is an awesomely durable choice.

Truth 1 Wood Core Truth1 uses 100% Poplar for a consistent flex tip-to-tail, and long-term durability.

Biaxal Sandwich Construction: While stiffer than a Cap construction snowboard, this Biax Sandwich board is torsionally soft to help the rider manhandle the board and gain confidence.

Aluminum Tip and Trail Protector: Following the super-rugged theme, these boards have layer of aluminum that wraps from the steel-edge to the topsheet. Just a little feature to keep your nose and tail from taking core shots.
