Atomic Soft Flex Boot: This snowboard boot has a soft forward flex, which means it was meant for comfort and ease of use more than aggressive riding. The ideal rider here is a beginner to low intermediate skier, or perhaps a more accomplished rider looking for a casual and warm fit.
3 Component Outsole: While not quite as stiff and rugged as the 4 component outsole, having the outsole a composite of 3 parts allows Atomic to put extra material where the rider needs high flex and durability, and less material where the rider would prefer less weight and a more casual flex.
Easy Fit Liner: A combination of high and low density EVA laminates offers great support in key areas like ankle, spine and in the 3D tongue. This liner is plush, warm, comfortable and lightweight, which will definitely help make your snowboarding experience all the more pleasurable.
Boa Lacing Technology:The awesome new setup that removes the only thing that sucks about snowboard boots: the laces. The Boa system is laced cables of aircraft grade steel (no it doesn't add weight) that take the place of laces in keeping your boots tight. To tighten you simply push in the Boa housing button (to lock it in place), righty tighty turn the dial until you get the snug fit you desire. To remove the boot, you just pop (pull) the housing button and stretch out the tongue.
Molded Sole: The sole is a molded rubber pattern to give excellent shock absorption while riding and better traction when walking to and from the lifts. |
