Please note that the EVOX 7 bindings will NOT work with boot sizes smaller than 23.0. If your junior skier is in a 22.5 and below, you must order the EVOX 4.5 to ensure compatibility with the boots Skier Ability: Beginner to Advanced Juniors: Versatile for basically all levels of junior skiers, from first timers on bunny slopes to seasoned advanced level skiers hanging out with mom and dad in the back bowls. These are NOT true race skis, its just part of the name. They are slightly more advanced, but very similar to most of the other junior skis we sell. Synthetic Core: A lightweight flexible ski core designed to help skiers master turning and stay out of harms way by making the ski nimble. Synthetic cores are great for those learning to master the art of skiing because they turn easily, but top speed skiers may prefer stiffer skis. Cap Construction: The topsheet of this ski drapes over the edge to form a clean and rounded finish to the side of the ski. This style of construction adds some torsional rigidity, and helps reduce topsheet chipping when the skis hit each other.
Tip and Tail Protectors: Plastic protectors on the tip and tail increase the durability of the gear tenfold. Your tips and tails are the most likely edges to get cracked, keep 'em safe with tip protectors and your skis will last for a long long time. Textured Surface: Ideal for repelling wear and tear on the skis surface. Textured ski surfaces are rough surfaces to the ski that hide or repel scratches keep your skis look new long after they are not. Originally designed for rental skis for obvious reasons, this surface is now available on a wide variety of retail skis as well since everyone likes their skis to look nice.
Active camber is a traditional base, essentially the absence of tip rocker. Active camber skis have superior edge hold on hard surfaces and at high speeds, but are more difficult to ski off-piste.
