Custom Pro Straps: Super-light and form-fitting thanks to the innovative covered split design, the rider in this binding gets an ankle strap with high surface area (but low weight), and a toe strap that can be used either over-the-top or in a toe-cap fashion. 35% Fiberglass Highback/Baseplate: The molded plastic is infused with 35% fiberglass for the most torsionally rigid bindings that Atomic makes. This is a great feature for aggressive riders, but even for beginner riders it is a lightweight blend and extra durability doesn't hurt anyone. Custom Pro Ratchets: A lightweight aluminum body, with reinforcements in all the right places. Also of note: the quick release pull on this ratchet is one of the easiest that we've ever seen. 1 Piece Baseplate: This baseplate eliminates some of the fuss of extra parts for adjustments that most people don't touch anyway. Also, one piece means fewer things that can go wrong and it will be lighter than multiple piece baseplates. 4 Hole Disc: This binding has the standard 4 hole pattern to fit any snowboard, except Burton. Adjustable Forward Lean: Adjust the position of the highback for more flexibility for freestyle, or more forward to get better performance at high speed. Padded Baseplate: Some padding on the baseplate to get extra cushion between the boot and the binding that absorbs shock from big jumps or vibrations from choppy terrain. Included Parts: Included with this binding is a set of screws to attach the board (don't worry, its easy- all boards are predrilled), a small stomp-pad, and a safety leash. |
