Target Skier: Lower to upper intermediate female skiers with average to a bit wider than average feet. This sport performance boot will offer a snug, yet comfortable fit for any level of intermediate skier, helping them get the proper support to maintain control at above average speeds and the occasional black diamond run. Features: Color: gloss white with grey inserts and blue highlights. Flex rating: 80 Bi component shell: Two different densities of plastic used to keep the boot stiff and able to perform at high speeds, yet softer in specific areas to make them easier to put on and take off. PU Shell: Poly Urethane shell (plastic) that resists stretching and is durable for long life. 102mm last: Slightly wider than average to give a great fit for most skiers. This last was designed to fit pretty much everyone, but really wide feet, or the opposite, should look for different lasts more appropriate for their foot types. Micro Al Aero buckles: The buckles used on this boot are lightweight and durable, and feature micro adjusting and a plastic tab at the end of the lever to aid in unlatching the buckle. Single Micro Excenter canting: Single canting on the outside of the ankle that will help correct an uneven ski platform. The adjuster stays right in the center, and pivots the boot without changing the fit or flex of the boot. Therm-ic prepared: The boot has been prepared to receive the footbed, wiring, and battery pack for Therm-ic brand boot heaters. The liner has a port at the rear and elastic guides for the wiring, and the shell has a plastic tab for hanging the battery pack. Although it is prepared for the heat system, it doesn't actually have any of its components. Custom Comfort women's T2 liner: This liner is used in recreation to higher performance boots for women, but is still comfortable. The foam is a medium density that molds to contours of the leg and feet quickly. Full Grip System: Textured toe and heel pads, as well as a rubberized piece under the boot that grips slippery stairs and uneven walkways. Macro adjust ladder (SuperMacro): The tooth plate opposite the top buckles can be moved in or out for a huge range of adjustment, and to fit narrow to wide lower legs. Recco reflector: The Recco reflector system is a location device built into the back of the boot. This allows ski patrol a much greater chance of finding you if you get stuck in the well of a tree or buried in an avalanche. Its not as good as wearing an avalanche beacon, but its the next best thing. 35mm strap: Wider than average strap at the top of the boot to help keep the boot together and to give good performance while skiing. Atomic M-Tech boots: The 102mm last on this boot will allow a comfortable fit for most all mountain skiers. This level of boot is considered a recreation boot based on the comfort level, but the adjustments and features border on the performance level. Good skiers that want a comfortable fit without loosing performance will be quite pleased with the M series of boots. |
