Biomex wrist protection is a wrist guard that is included with a few of Level's gloves. This wristguard is designed to be worn inside the gloves.

Level's proven Biomex wrist protection system is the result of an extensive and on-going collaboration between snowboarders, the medical community, and engineers who understand bio-mechanics. Biomex research and development is based at the Klinic Gut, Center of Bone and Joint Surgery in St. Moritz, Switzerland, where Level pros and physicians design and develop the most advanced wrist support technology on the market. Biomex Plus, the latest innovation from this project, features a new 'Swallow Tail' design for better comfort and support.

Safer Snowboarding
Almost 30% of all injuries sustained in snowboarding are wrist injuries. A four-year study at the Klinic Gut, Center of Bone and Joint Surgery in St. Moritz, sponsored by Level and the Swiss and German Snowboard Associations, has shown the effectiveness of wrist guards in reducing the risk of wrist injuries in snowboarding.

The Result of the Field Test
A 4 year study conducted by the Klinic gut, Center of Bone and Joint Surgery proved the effectiveness of Biomex wrist guards in reducing the risk of wrist injuries in snowboarding. The study showed that using Biomex wrist guards reduces the risk of wrist injury by 7.5 times.
