The BD Slant is an Alpine Touring boot designed to be used with AT bindings to more efficiently get the skier out into the backcountry. The Slant is very lightweight with Dynafit Tech toe and heel inserts and a rockered rubber sole for maximum grip and durability. One feature that sets this boot apart is the adjustable forward lean of 14 or 18 degrees so you can adjust your skiing posture with the twist of a screw. The Slant has 40 degrees of resistance-free touring motion as well so skinning up that ridgeline will not be easier than ever.

103mm Last Width: This boot has a 103mm width, which means it is above average width, so the total volume of the boot is generous, making this boot comfortable to wear, and easier to put on and take off than some more constricting boots.

110 Flex Rating: This boot is too stiff for beginners, and would be a very aggressive fit for intermediates. 110 flex is going to be a stiff and performance oriented shell that is recommend for advanced/expert skiers who need a very responsive boot.

PU Shell: Poly Urethane shell (plastic) that resists stretching and is durable for long life.

Micro-adjustable aluminum buckles: These aluminum buckles can be moved to adjust for size, so if the default position of the buckle and the teeth is too wide or too narrow, you can move it until it fits.

Alpine Touring Ready: These boots are equipped with a Hike/Ski switch on the back of the boot. Whether you need to bootpack (hiking up with your skis over your shoulder) or using skins and touring bindings (the bindings are designed to lift up at the heel, while using skins on the bases of your skis to provide traction while going uphill) these boots will provide much more range of motion in your legs, resulting in less pain and faster ascents!

Touring Style Rubber Outsole: These Alpine Tour boots have a non-removable rockered outsole with tech inserts for optimal hiking and touring versatility. The full rubber sole is optimized for grip in cold temps and when combined with a rockered profile, provides dramatic traction.

Triax Pivot Frame: This is a Touring focused construction with progressive, alpine boot-style power transfer and an unmatched range of motion in walk mode.

Efficient Fit AT Laceup Liner: This liner is a thermo-moldable Laceup liner that is perfect for Alpine Touring. This is a lightweight liner with anti-microbial coating to keep the stink out as well because during those long touring days, you'll be sweatin'.
