Target Rider: Beginning to Advanced level riders
Burton has always marketed their Freestyle line of boots as 'skate shoes on steroids,' and its tough to disagree with that. Lightweight, comfortable, and extremely durable, you can thrash around in these boots to your heart's content. Aggressive riding expert snowboarders may prefer a heavier duty boot, but basically everyone else under the can find a good match with the Burton Freestyle boot. Features:
Lacing: 2:1 Power Lacing system (the liner has its own set of laces you can cinch up)
Liner: Imprint 2 Liner with True Fit Construction, Hot Pockets and Power Panel 1.0 Technology. The Imprint 2 is the middle step in Burton's Liners, not as fancy as the Imprint 3, but with a few more adjustments than the Imprint 1.
Lightweight Outsole with EVA Cushioning and Rubber Ice Spikes (translation: its comfy and you won't slip) Removable Liner: This boot comes with a removable liner. Removable liners have the advantage of being easier to dry than non removable liners, and the disadvantage of usually being a little larger than a non removable linered boot of the same size. |
