The Poncho Villa style is a limited run on the Mission Bindings with a theme clearly inspired by those Mexican 'Zarape' blankets Target Rider: Intended for use by strong-intermediate to expert riders, but it is lightweight enough for beginners and lower intermediates. We here at Level 9 are born skeptics when it comes to snowboard bindings. How much force can the straps take before they loosen up or worse yet, pop off? Am I going to have to retighten my bindings every day I ride? Will the straps keep my heel down when im turning? Skepticism not withstanding, this is a phenomenal binding, with the strength and responsiveness that expert riders crave (you can session the park with these bindings all day, no problems), but remains a lightweight and suitable option for beginning riders. Features: Baseplate: Short-Glass Fiber/Nylon Composite (we don't know what short-glass fiber is either, but it is durable!)
NEW Team SkyBack Extended height Back-plate for added responsiveness Straps: Primostrap (the highest quality strap of any Burton Bindings except for the Burton Custom...which is a pro-level binding) Toe Caps: The toe straps are caps that can be used to cup the front of the boot or used normally as a strap across the boot. In case you didn't know this is a hot new feature on the sweetest of sweet bindings. Buckles: Polished Aluminum Smooth Glide Buckles |
