Flow 2012 Merc EZ-Rock Camber Snowboard

The Flow 2012 Merc snowboard is an amazing all-mountain ride. The reverse camber profile makes powder and choppy snow easy to float over top of, makes it easy to butter (or 'manual' if you're a skater) on and off of terrain park features. On groomed runs, the reverse camber makes the board feel mellow and soft, but the transitional sidecut keeps the edges firmly in the snow at high speeds, and the TruFlex core provides a high strength-to-weight ratio that will be great at dampening the vibrations that are part of ripping through a groomer at Mach 5.

EZ-Rock Camber Profile: A gentle reverse camber shape for easy, smooth all mountain riding without fear of catching edges.

TruFlex Core: TruFlex cores are wood constructions made in the Flow Labs out of different density Poplar woods to create a uniquely strong but lightweight core. These boards have a lively, flexy feel but don't feel weak and noodly and unresponsive. Which is good!

Twin-ISH Directional Board: Flow lists this board as 'Twin-ISH' meaning that it is not a completely symmetrical twin tip board, but it's pretty close.

Wood Core Construction: This board sports a wood core, which helps dampen a bumpy a ride, giving the board a smoother ride. The wood core also helps maintain the camber of the board so it stays springy and lively.

Sidewall Construction: Full Sidewall/Sandwich boards are more rigid and great at dampening vibrations when riding at high speeds.

Transitional Sidecut: This board does not have a single parabolic sidecut, instead the shape is made up from multiple parabolic sidecuts, meaning that the turning radius can be shorter or longer depending on where on the board you initiate your turn. This type of sidecut is very versatile, as this board can be extremely nimble if it needs to be, or you can just lay it flat and point downhill if you prefer.

Biaxal Fiberglass: Fiberglass in the board is layered at two angles (perpendicular to eachother) for added torsional strength without added weight.

Optix 2000 Extruded Base: A high density extruded base such as this is extremely easy to maintain and fix.
