How long do Australia and NZ orders take to arrive? Well.. we don't believe it ourselves, but almost all orders are arriving within a week of ordering. We have had reports back of urban areas (i.e. Sydney) arriving in 3 business days (we don't like exclamation points, but)! We have also had few reports of damage and only one of the first 100 orders down south had any delivery problems at all. Knock on wood but we bet you get an order from us quicker than you get a package from Perth (unless of course you happen to live in Perth.)
Feedback on NZ orders is that there are some customs delays there, which we cannot control.
What currency are prices? All prices we post on our site and all payments are made in US currency. Exchange rates and fees will be determined by the credit card company you use to make payment.
What payment methods are accepted for International Orders? Credit cards are accepted through our payment processor, we do not accept Paypal for orders from outside of North America. Please keep in mind that your credit card billing address will need to be verified and we will NOT ship to an alternate address on foreign orders.
If you have trouble completing payment, please contact us to complete payment.
Do you ship to Australia? Yes we do!
Do you ship to New Zealand? We were told that if we ship to one, we have to ship to the other. Its like if you give one of your kids crayons, you have to give the other kid crayons also to even it out.
So, the answer is yes. Orders to NZ with a tax/duty amount over $60 are usually charged taxes, if the tax amount is under $60, they do not charge you. Generally this means orders under $400NZ have no tax, and orders over 400NZ will be taxed around 15%. Please read our NZ specific page for more information!
Basically, if you live in New Zealand, it might be better if you ship it to Australia then drive over and pick up your order there. The 12-15 percent fees were hidden from us (and you), so we're not exactly stoked to find this out after shipping for months. Give us your feedback though, we would like to hear more from the Kiwis, so we can find a way to save you some cash when shipping orders there.
How long does it take? Travel time for DHL is approximately 5-7 business days. New Zealand orders MAY take a day or two longer due to customs, urban Australia orders will probably be quicker.
How much will it cost? The shipping rate for Aussie and Kiwi orders not a flat rate, but rather a scale based on the items in your cart. At any time to see how much of a shipping cost your items will require, you can view your Shopping Cart (by clicking at the top right hand side of any page) and it will display the shipping costs for the items in your cart. You may need to be logged in or select Australia or New Zealand to view the real shipping rate...if it says $7 flat rate that means it has USA selected in the dropdown menu--which is the default option.
Will I receive a tracking number? Yes we provide tracking numbers for all of our orders, Aus/NZ not withstanding.
Will I be levied any taxes or duties upon delivery? Please check with your local import authorities as it's impossible for us to keep up with all countries policies, but Level9 was told that no duties or taxes are charged on orders less than AUD$1000 to Australia.
Feedback on New Zealand is that they are (or soon will) charge 15% on all orders (including shipping) over $400NZ.
If you have a different experience than that listed please give us feedback so that we can keep our information up to date. We can't do anything about your governments policies, but we do try to give you the most accurate information we can.
Which courier do you use? For Aussie and Kiwi shipping, we use DHL. It is DHL Worldwide Express service level, which means they put it on a big airplane and it usually gets to your house in about a week.
Can you ship to a country that is not listed in your shipping policy? Not directly, but if you live outside of the US, Canada, Australia or New Zealand, you can still take advantage of Level Nine Sports deals worldwide by using a package forwarder. Our research has come up the following as providing you the best rates to get products forwarded to you. They are not in any way affiliated with Level Nine Sports (nor do we collect any fees if you use their services), but we have had customers use them successfully. www.usglobalmail.com/value.asp www.myus.com
We always appreciate feedback on getting our customers the best service, so if these companies do not work for you or you find a company that provide better value, please email us about it.
Do you want to throw another shrimp on the barbie? Yes, of course!
I would like to buy in bulk, is there a cheaper slower shipping option? Yes, we have been able to send pallet loads of goods at a rates about 30% of the normal shipping rates. Note this is only available for large commercial size orders. Shipping time is usually about 2 months to any international location and you may be required to pick up your items at a local shipping warehouse. Please email email@example.com to ask about bulk international orders.
