In-Mold Technology: A lightweight shell surrounds the injected foam, and makes the helmet much lighter than hard shell counterparts. Removable ear flaps: Soft ear flaps that can be removed for warm weather skiing, or to make the helmet feel a little wider. Slide Vent Adjust: A tab at the top of the helmet can be slid forward or back to open and close vents to aid in temperature regulation. This is a quick and easy way to keep the helmet comfortable and wearable all day and in any weather condition. Safety Standards: ASTM F-2040-00: Meets the standard specifications of protective headgear for snowsports Padded Chin Strap: Thin padding under the chin prevents chafing and allows for proper fit of the helmet. Plug insert: Removable sheet with plugs to fill the vents of the helmet. Put it in for the cold days, take it out for warm days. Flexible goggle strap: A rubberized material used for the goggle strap at the rear of the helmet can stretch over goggle clips, and will prevent the goggles from slipping off the back of the helmet. Neck Seal: A padded section of fabric at the back of the neck prevents snow and cold air from entering the helmet. |
