Soft shell cover: The covering on this helmet is a thin plastic to keep the weight of the helmet down. The shell also deforms on hard impacts, and lets the underlying layer of foam to absorb the shock. Removable ear flaps: Soft ear flaps that can be removed for warm weather skiing, or to make the helmet feel a little wider. Slide Vent Adjust: A tab at the top of the helmet can be slid forward or back to open and close vents to aid in temperature regulation. This is a quick and easy way to keep the helmet comfortable and wearable all day and in any weather condition. Safety Standards: ASTM F-2040-00: Meets the standard specifications of protective headgear for snowsports Padded Chin Strap: Thin padding under the chin prevents chafing and allows for proper fit of the helmet. Flexible goggle strap: A rubberized material used for the goggle strap at the rear of the helmet can stretch over goggle clips, and will prevent the goggles from slipping off the back of the helmet. |
