Carbon Fiber Construction: Carbon fiber's strength to weight ratio makes this material highly desirable for gear heads, but is quite functional in the skiing world. These poles have a very low swing weight, have excellent shock absorption, and are super strong. Ultra Thin 10.4mm diameter: Ultra Thin 10.4mm diameter: Almost pencil thin, this shaft reduces aerodynamic drag, and has natural shock absorption to take the edge off when skiing ice, not to mention that this pole is incredibly light! Ice Breaker Tip: A sharp, yet durable tip doesn't slip on firm snow to get solid plants for turning and pushing along the flats. Keep in mind that they are sharp, so use caution during pole jousting matches. Inter-Loc Hook: This pole's strap has a metal loop that snaps into the handle, that will pop out if yanked hard, so your arm doesn't get torn off when the basket gets stuck in a bush. If you are fortunate enough to have Inter-Loc gloves, then this grip is compatible. Powder and Standard Baskets: Both are included with these poles, and can easily be switched back and forth, thanks to the threaded tip. Just unscrew and screw back on the ones you need for the day's conditions. Make sure they are screwed on all the way, and don't loose the other set, because once they are gone, they're gone and we don't have extras. Palm Plus Open Grip: This is Goode's nicest grip, with a velcro pulley system (like a powerstrap on a ski boot) for a strap, so you can cinch these to your gloves and they won't be going anywhere. |
