SuperLite Pure Carbon Fiber: Goode's new patent, SuperLite Pure Carbon fiber is the lightest carbon fiber ever. These poles are bombproof, lighter than anything on the market, so if you're reading this you're looking at premium premium top end poles. You could smelt these down and make an outerspace worthy vessel (probably shouldn't try that though). Ultra Thin 10.4mm diameter: Ultra Thin 10.4mm diameter: Almost pencil thin, this shaft reduces aerodynamic drag, and has natural shock absorption to take the edge off when skiing ice, not to mention that this pole is incredibly light! Ice Breaker Tip: A sharp, yet durable tip doesn't slip on firm snow to get solid plants for turning and pushing along the flats. Keep in mind that they are sharp, so use caution during pole jousting matches. Inter-Loc Hook: This pole's strap has a metal loop that snaps into the handle, that will pop out if yanked hard, so your arm doesn't get torn off when the basket gets stuck in a bush. If you are fortunate enough to have Inter-Loc gloves, then this grip is compatible. Powder and Standard Baskets: Both are included with these poles, and can easily be switched back and forth, thanks to the threaded tip. Just unscrew and screw back on the ones you need for the day's conditions. Make sure they are screwed on all the way, and don't loose the other set, because once they are gone, they're gone and we don't have extras. Leather Palm Plus Open Grip: This is Goode's nicest grip, made even more classy by leather pulley straps (as opposed to nylon). The open grip is lighter and more comfortable to white-knuckle all day than harder grips, but still has tacky rubber to make sure you don't lose your grip. The grip also includes the Inter-loc glove interface for added convenience. |
