Goode 2012 SuperMax Beyond Ski Poles

Sale: $24.00

Sometimes, as an adventurous outdoor enthusiast, you want to go to the max...maybe even the super max, or maybe if the mood strikes you just right, you will want to go all the way to the SuperMax and Beyond, and in those cases there can be only one pole, the Goode SuperMax Beyond. That was probably a little hammy, but seriously, the SuperMax Beyond poles are really good quality, and a really good value on a carbon composite pole that will withstand the test of time. Goode's soft rubber/plastic grips are comfortable to hold all day, and since these are carbon composite, they will be lighter than just about any poles except for pure carbon poles (which are triple the price).

Carbon Composite Shaft: This shaft has a Carbon/Graphite composite material. While not as lightweight as pure Carbon, carbon composites are much stronger and lighter than aluminum poles, and are even stronger than cheaper composites, though their weight and shock absorption will be very similar to non-Carbon Composite poles.

Ice Breaker Tip: A sharp, yet durable tip doesn't slip on firm snow to get solid plants for turning and pushing along the flats. Keep in mind that they are sharp, so use caution during pole jousting matches.

Rubberized grip: A tacky material aids in grip between the gloves and handle (grip) of the poles, so you don't loose, uh grip.

Adjustable Nylon Strap: A nylon strap with easy adjustment ensures the poles don't get away from you after jumping off that big cliff on the backside of the mountain. Or with some imagination, they can help you carry a pair of skis.

12.7mm Diameter Shaft: 12.7mm is the standard diameter of a set of ski poles, and since the shaft of these poles is totally straight, the poles can be cut-down to size if you get the poles and they are just too long or you want to give them to a skier who is shorter than you.

Interchangeable Baskets: These poles do not come with wider baskets, but they any Goode pole basket from the last few years will fit on these tips, so if you have powder baskets on an older set of Goodes, you can re-use them with these poles!
