This versatile board has a symmetrical sidecut, with just a little bit of setback to get better tracking at higher speeds. The Head Defy i. Rocka will tear up the park, turn easy through the rest of the mountain, and float like no other in powder. Rocker started out as a powder tool, but this board proves its going to stick around with park and all mountain boards.

Rocker Shape: This board has a 'rocker' profile to it, meaning when it sits on a flat surface, the tip and tail are lifted higher than a normal camber board. This design helps the board float better in soft snow, turns easier, helps reduce catching tip and tail, and gives the board a 'buttery' feeling. Its just better overall.

Wood Core: The standard core which has throughout time provided the best performance and durability. Each model may have it's own density level to help define flex and maximum speed but every wood core ski will be solid.

Head's Intelligence technology: is essentially an array of fibers inside of the ski or snowboard that absorb the mechanical energy that your muscles are putting into the ski, and convert them to electrical energy. The more energy the fibers absorb, the stiffer the ski becomes. So the faster you go the more stable this ski is. We were the first one to say that this was just some gimmick jargon, but the stuff actually works.

ABS Sidewall: ABS provides better edge hold than other materials and construction types. It will also withstand impacts with rocks and terrain features (rails, boxes, your friend) more effectively when compared to cap style construction.

Radial Sidecut: This board has a perfectly radial sidecut (i.e. if the sidecut kept going eventually it would form one big circle) which gives the rider an expected and uniform feel on all types of turns.

4400/3400 Extruded Base: This durable material requires little maintenance and holds wax for a long period of time, so you don't have to wax the board every day.
