Rocker Shape: This board has a 'rocker' profile to it, meaning when it sits on a flat surface, the tip and tail are lifted higher than a normal camber board. This design helps the board float better in soft snow, turns easier, helps reduce catching tip and tail, and gives the board a 'buttery' feeling. Its just better overall.
Wood Core: The standard core which has throughout time provided the best performance and durability. Each model may have it's own density level to help define flex and maximum speed but every wood core ski will be solid.
4400 Easy Care Extruded Base This base type is highly durable, requires very little maintenance and will keep your board sliding nicely down the mountain. Since a lot of people ask, when we say "very little maintenance" that pretty much means get your ride tuned once preseason and you're good to go.
ABS Sidewall: ABS provides better edge hold than other materials and construction types. It will also withstand impacts with rocks and terrain features (rails, boxes, your friend) more effectively when compared to cap style construction.
Radial Sidecut: This board has a perfectly radial sidecut (i.e. if the sidecut kept going eventually it would form one big circle) which gives the rider an expected and uniform feel on all types of turns. |
