Target Skier: This boot is designed for all Intermediate skiers. Beginners and lower advanced skiers would also be good fits here. The main feature is comfort for most feet types. Features: Flex rating:50 Material: Superlight shell with soft overlapping flaps Buckles: Makralon buckles with dual micro-adjustable instep buckles for dial in fit. Technology: Double Canting, adjustable wedge arch system, soft walk heel. Inner Boot: Soft plush Pile lining, 30mm Velcro strap, women specific supportive heel, double adjustable cuff profile. Forefoot boot width: 104mm (C104) This is a fantastic choice for a recreational boot. This is a comfy boot designed to meet the needs of recreational skiers. With many nice Head's features you know you have a nice fitting boot that can handle whatever you can dish out. It has a lot of adjustment options that make this boot fit just about everyone. Head's Edge series boots could be the most popular recreational boot ever made. They are certainly the most universally popular boots we sell. Edge boots are marked by a traditional 4 buckle system and a generous 104mm wide inner boot. This width accommodates all but the widest feet (you guys should head over to our I-Type boots or Roxa Cruise.) They provide a good balance of performance and comfort with a definite lean toward comfort. As the model number increases, the number of features and stiffness of the boot also increases. All skill levels (except perhaps extreme skiers and racers) will find an edge boot that fits their level, if this boot isn't it, just check out another. If we have both Edge Ladies and Dream Thang boots in your size then you will probably be deciding which of those two is right for you. The Dream Thangs are a more snug fit designed to mold perfectly to a woman's foot. The Edge L boots are a bit more roomy and fit most everyone well. While you can still get good performance from Edge boots (particularly the 9 and above level), the Dream Thangs snug fit will help your skiing improve more. Although every foot is a little different and some of you would get better comfort in a Dream Thang and others may get better performance in an Edge, as a general rule if you want comfort get an Edge L, if you want performance get a Dream Thang (yes both types of boots will provide good comfort and performance, we are just trying to help you flip that coin already.) |
