Head Edge SX Men's Ski Boots

The Head Edge SX is an entry level men's boot using the legendary Edge 104mm last. This boot has a softy 60 flex, so the target audience here is beginners all the way up to strong intermediates that are looking for comfortable all-day ski boots. Although these boots are soft and comfort oriented, they do have strong aluminum buckles (the top two of which are micro-adjustable), a 35mm Powerstrap (which works like a 5th buckle), and a double canting adjustments--which is pretty impressive. You really can't go wrong with these boots.

60 Flex Index: Great for beginners and intermediate skiers that need a forgiving boot to give comfort throughout the day.

104mm last: Comfort is key for skiers matching up to this last width. It is roomy and comfortable, making it the preferred choice for recreational skiers that demand comfort above all else. This is the boot type that most recreational skiers prefer.

35mm strap: Wider than average strap at the top of the boot to help keep the boot together and to give good performance while skiing.

Macro adjust ladder (SuperMacro): The tooth plate opposite the top buckles can be moved in or out for a huge range of adjustment, and to fit narrow to wide lower legs.

Soft Walk HeelSoft Walk Heel: A rubber insert in the heel cushions while walking to get better grip and a more comfortable stride.

Micro-adjustable aluminum buckles: These aluminum buckles can be moved to adjust for size, so if the default position of the buckle and the teeth is too wide or too narrow, you can move it until it fits.

Replaceable Toe and Heel Pads: This is a must-have for skiers that don't live in ski in/ski out condos. When your ski tech tells you that you have to buy new boots because the soles are worn down too much, just laugh at him and tell him to order you a new set of sole plates.

Double Canting: Two adjustment bolts, one each side of the ankle, allow for maximum adjustment for leg/knee alignment problems. The canting helps the skis stay flat on the ground while you are still bow-legged or knock-kneed.

Head's Edge series boots could be the most popular recreational boot ever made. They are certainly the most universally popular boots we sell.

Edge boots are marked by a traditional 4 buckle system and a generous 104mm wide inner boot. This width accommodates all but the widest feet (you guys should head over to our I-Type boots or Roxa Cruise.) They provide a good balance of performance and comfort with a definite lean toward comfort.

As the model number increases, the number of features and stiffness of the boot also increases. All skill levels (except perhaps extreme skiers and racers) will find an edge boot that fits their level, if this boot isn't it, just check out another.
