Don't be thrown off, this adjustable binding is made for the high end rental/demo market, not for the crowd of first timers. What you get is a top end binding with all the features you could want, superb adjustability, and a silly price. And, in case you were wondering, these bindings can be mounted with the Railflex Baseplates on ANY ski that doesn't already have a plate. Plus, the colors work great with any ski, but you can check out the pics and decide that for yourself.

Double FreeFlex: Our favorite binding feature. The double freeflex bindings toe and heel slides onto a track on the ski with many positive resulting features:
Optimal ski flex performance: The toe and heels can slide safely on the plate while you arc the ski in turns, this enables the ski to flex fully underneath the boot for the elimination of 'dead spot' where the ski cannot flex, this will allow fuller more true carves.
Easy binding adjustability: These bindings will adjust to a wide range of boot sizes without costly remounting of bindings, whether this means lending them to a friend, passing the ski on, or reselling them, this is a significant savings.
Reusable bindings: Since the bindings slide off and on you can use the same pair of bindings on multiple skis or if you happen to buy a binding better than your skis you can easily reuse these when you upgrade.

Demo Adjust: This is a system for quick boot size adjustments as would be found in a high end rental shop. Adjusting for different boot sizes couldn't be much easier. Simply lift the lever in the middle of the binding, move the toe and heel pieces forward or back so that the numbers on the binding band match the sole length of your boot, close lever. That's it, not tools needed and the binding never need come off the ski. Don't forget though to have your release settings adjusted to the specs of the new boot and skier.

Railflex Stance Adjustment: Yet another great feature of railflex bindings, the position of skier on the ski can be moved forward or back 1.5cm with little effort. Simple unscrew the screw in the middle on top of the binding, slide the toe/heel assembly forward or back so that the notches on the binding line up with one of the notches on the plate, tighten the screw and off you go. You do not need to remove the bindings to adjust the stance and there is no testing of the binding needed when you make this adjustment.. Typically slower more cautious skiing is done in the forward position and more aggressive skiing in the back position. Play with it to see what works for you, though one thing you will definitely want to do is move the position back when skiing powder or crud/slush as this enables you to get your weight back as desired without having to maintain poor body position.

Full Diagonal Toe: Intelligent 180degree release action both horizontally and vertically. Maximum safety in backwards crash situations.

Full Diagonal Heel: The top of the line for performance and safety, the side to side swivel of the heel allows for better performance and truer release by letting the springs on the heel hold the boot in place under lateral force. The binding can give but not release when you are exerting force such as a high speed carve, this helps not only avoid prerelease but also ensures that the binding release when it needs to.

TRP Toe: A 4 roller system in the toe piece which allows a smooth release and 30% higher retention without compromising safety. It also helps absorb little shocks so they are not all transferred to the skier, also reducing premature releases.

ABS - Anti Blocking System: A rollable toe pad enabling no friction release for perfect release regardless of boot wear, icing up or dirt.

Duracoating: A protective seal on the binding to help reduce wear for looks and performance.

Basic Railflex Features:
Stand Height 29/35mm ramped: A good all around stance, but definitely excels at aiding carving, pure park skiers and some powder exclusive skiers would NOT want a binding with this much stand height.
Boot Sole Length Compatibility: 263-360mm- this is most boots sizes 24.0-32.0, if requested we can provide a band that will work with boots to 380mm.

Din Range 4-14: Only for skiers 125lbs and up. This binding has a very high top din and is best suited for experts who like to set their release values higher than that recommended by official adjustment settings.

RF Series Binding/Brake: We are designating these RF series bindings/brake arms. To help avoid the confusion about which brake arms work with which bindings. All RF series parts will have this description and be accessible from the link at the beginning of this paragraph.
