The Raptor Supershape 115 (also known as RS 115, Supershape RS 115, Raptor 115 in various places online--its the same boot) is a ski boot made for expert, hard charging skiers who want their foot to be locked in place with a stiff enough flex to provide immediate response at high speeds, and in difficult terrain. The RS last is 98mm, so these boots fit snugly like race boots, but are not as punishing as a true World Cup boot (such as the Fischer WC boots or Head RD boots). This boot features the Heatfit PRO liner, which is a thin but sturdy heat moldable liner that won't pack out immediately like some plushier liners. This RS 115 is an insane deal if you are an advanced to expert skier that needs a performance fit. Beginners and intermediates should pass on these even though they are a great value.

105/115 Adjustable Flex Rating: At this level, we are teetering on the precipice between consumer level boots and race-team boots. These boots are still on the consumer side, but they are certainly high performance enough for pretty much any racing program that you or your child may be in.

Atomic 98 Last98mm last: Forefoot width of 98mm offers an expertly performing low-volume fit. Boots of this last width can run the gamut from very tight fitting to reasonably comfortable, but they will all fit much much tighter than a rental or intermediate boot.

HeatFit PRO: Self molding inserts throughout the boot, including the tongue and above the heel pocket, help this liner give you a custom fit without ever having to visit a bootfitter. This liner is associated with boots in the performance to professional category, so comfort level is still an important part of the makeup of this liner.

Micro-adjustable aluminum Racing Department buckles: These aluminum buckles can be moved to adjust for size, so if the default position of the buckle and the teeth is too wide or too narrow, you can move it until it fits. And they sport the red and white racing buckles just like the Head World Cup team.

40mm strap: Super wide strap found on high performance boots. The extra width spreads out the force while skiing and reduces the pressure point on the upper shin.

Racing Flex Adjustment: The flex setting of this boot can be adjusted very precisely to any stiffness within its range. High performance skiers can dial in the exact stiffness that they desire.

FIS Approved: This boot conforms to the boot sole thickness regulations set forth by FIS. This means that when you are good enough to compete and win, they won't tell you its just because of your boots.

RD/RS liner shell combo: Head's RD and RS boots are serious performance boots, but the fit is more comfortable than the forefoot width would indicate. The liner is compressed so that it will not be as bulky and pack out less than a lower end boot.
