This boot is a consumer level race boot, meaning it is stiff, and unforgiving. Basically, don't buy it unless a race fit with no extra comfort space is needed.

Features:
Flex: 110-130 (Adjustable)
Target skier: Experts

98mm last: Forefoot width of 98mm for racing performance, not as concerned about comfort, although Head boots do a great job of keeping their performance boots quite comfortable.

Performance PRO liner: A thin layer of thermo-moldable material gives this liner unmatched contact and feel with the shell of the boot, while quickly molding to the unique features of the skier's feet. The footbed that comes with this liner has pronounced heel and arch support, compared to most standard boots. This liner also has cork ankle inserts that slide into place on either side of the Achilles tendon to prevent heel lift.

Micro-adjustable aluminum Racing Department buckles: These aluminum buckles can be moved to adjust for size, so if the default position of the buckle and the teeth is too wide or too narrow, you can move it until it fits. And they sport the red and white racing buckles just like the Head World Cup team.

Double Canting: Two adjustment bolts, one each side of the ankle, allow for maximum adjustment for leg/knee alignment problems. The canting helps the skis stay flat on the ground while you are still bow-legged or knock-kneed.

Double Velcro Powerstrap: This a powerstrap on steroids. Using a simple pulley, the double power strap can tightened significantly more than a regular shin strap, which effectively acts as an extra buckle, keeping your upper shin and calf locked right where they're supposed to be.

FIS Approved: This boot conforms to the boot sole thickness regulations set forth by FIS. This means that when you are good enough to compete and win, they won't tell you its just because of your boots.

High rebound PU Shell: Stiff plastic used for the shells of high performance and race boots. Helps drive the energy from the skier direct to the skis to maintain snow contact. The elasticity/rebound of the shell absorbs some of the energy from bumps, and drives the skis back down on the snow.

RD/RS liner shell combo: Head's RD and RS boots are serious performance boots, but the fit is more comfortable than the forefoot width would indicate. The liner is compressed so that it will not be as bulky and pack out less than a lower end boot.
