Ideal Target Skier: Slow and Easy: No matter what the ability level, sometimes people just like to take it slow. These skiers don't need the best of the best, and are most comfortable under control at slower speeds. Skier Ability: Entry Level/Beginner: The forgiving flex and lightness of this ski helps beginners have a great time on the slopes and reduces fatigue. These are great to get out on the hill and feel the sensation of gliding and carving at slow speeds on the ski hill. Speed: Controlled: Usually a moderate speed because of a lot of back and forth on the hill, or sticking to the lower pitch runs. Skis designed for slower skiing can still be skied more aggressively by lighter skiers (especially juniors). Synthetic Core: A lightweight flexible ski core designed to help skiers master turning and stay out of harms way by making the ski nimble. Synthetic cores are great for those learning to master the art of skiing because they turn easily, but top speed skiers may prefer stiffer skis. Fiber Jacket: A solid topsheet that provides a good blend of stability and performance without extra weight. Cap Construction: The topsheet of this ski drapes over the edge to form a clean and rounded finish to the side of the ski. This style of construction adds some torsional rigidity, and helps reduce topsheet chipping when the skis hit each other. Textured Surface: Ideal for repelling wear and tear on the skis surface. Textured ski surfaces are rough surfaces to the ski that hide or repel scratches keep your skis look new long after they are not. Originally designed for rental skis for obvious reasons, this surface is now available on a wide variety of retail skis as well since everyone likes their skis to look nice. Integrated Railflex Plate: Railflex bindings are the optimal choice for most any skier. This ski comes with a Railflex plate integrated into the ski at the factory so you don't have a choice. If you have a tested Railflex binding from any of the past 5 years you can simply slide it on to the plate, otherwise you are best off choosing one from the drop-down list above. You know that you won't find a better price. Please note that you cannot use a Railflex Lite binding on this ski. |
