Head Edge boots are synonymous with all mountain comfort, for good reason! The Edge 10.5 offers up an adjustable flex of 70-80, which is a good intermediate flex, perhaps even into advanced skiers who simply want a comfortable boot. The last width is 104mm, as with all Head Edge boots, which should be roomy enough for nearly all feet. Unlike a lot of 'comfort oriented' boots, the Head Edge 10.5 is packed with advanced features usually reserved for more aggressive, meaner boots. These aren't mean though, they are very friendly :)

70/80 Flex Rating: A flex rating suitable for any intermediate skier, and even some lower advanced skiers as well. This boot has the feature of adjusting between the two flex settings to customize the boot for the skier's needs or changes in the snow conditions.

104mm last: Comfort is key for skiers matching up to this last width. It is roomy and comfortable, making it the preferred choice for recreational skiers that demand comfort above all else. This is the boot type that most recreational skiers prefer.

heatfit linerHeatFit liner with anatomical footbed: This liner will adapt to the shape of your feet and lower leg, just by wearing them. The self molding inserts will make the boot more comfortable the more you wear them. The anatomical footbed has additional support in the heel and arch, and has a solid, yet comfortable feel while skiing.

Soft Walk HeelSoft Walk Heel: A rubber insert in the heel cushions while walking to get better grip and a more comfortable stride.

35mm strap: Wider than average strap at the top of the boot to help keep the boot together and to give good performance while skiing.

Macro adjust ladder (SuperMacro): The tooth plate opposite the top buckles can be moved in or out for a huge range of adjustment, and to fit narrow to wide lower legs.

Micro-adjustable aluminum buckles: These aluminum buckles can be moved to adjust for size, so if the default position of the buckle and the teeth is too wide or too narrow, you can move it until it fits.

heatfit linerDouble Power Buckles: Some of the buckles on this boot (usually the top 2) have a metal flip-out that can be extended to give the skier more leverage when clamping it down.

Adjustable rear spoiler: With a quick adjustment, the height at the top rear of the boot can be raised or lowered. If you are taller than average for your boot size, or if you just want the extra support at the back of the leg, you can adjust the spoiler up about 1cm from standard. This will also pitch you forward slightly into a more aggressive stance.

Double Canting: Two adjustment bolts, one each side of the ankle, allow for maximum adjustment for leg/knee alignment problems. The canting helps the skis stay flat on the ground while you are still bow-legged or knock-kneed.

Adjustable flex: The flex setting of this boot can be toggled between two settings: the higher is stiffer and better performance, while the lower setting is softer and more comfortable.

Replaceable Toe and Heel Pads: This is a must-have for skiers that don't live in ski in/ski out condos. When your ski tech tells you that you have to buy new boots because the soles are worn down too much, just laugh at him and tell him to order you a new set of sole plates.

Head's Edge series boots could be the most popular recreational boot ever made. They are certainly the most universally popular boots we sell.

Edge boots are marked by a traditional 4 buckle system and a generous 104mm wide inner boot. This width accommodates all but the widest feet (you guys should head over to our I-Type boots or Roxa Cruise.) They provide a good balance of performance and comfort with a definite lean toward comfort.

As the model number increases, the number of features and stiffness of the boot also increases. All skill levels (except perhaps extreme skiers and racers) will find an edge boot that fits their level, if this boot isn't it, just check out another.
