Lamar Delta Women's Snowboard Boots Tan

Sale: $69.00
Retail: $240.00

This low profile, lightweight boot is super comfortable but the stiff tongue helps make up for that by letting you maintain control while speeding down the hill getting chased by ski patrol. Lace up liner, pressure point reducing calf patch, and set back ankle laces all add to the glory that is this boot.

Flex Rating: 8 out of 10

Flex Rating: The flex rating of a boot refers to how stiff the boot is, the higher the relative rating the stiffer the boot. Some boots will list 4 of 5, others may list 8 of 10; two such boots should have similar flex. In general more beginner rider wants a lower flex and more advanced rider a higher flex, but this is not always the case as some beginner riders like more support and some advanced riders like more give.

Removable Liner: This boot comes with a removable liner. Removable liners have the advantage of being easier to dry than non removable liners, and the disadvantage of usually being a little larger than a non removable linered boot of the same size.

Backstay: The back of this boot is reinforced for strength and stiffness. It gives you the support you need for any ability level.

Comfort Forming Internal Liner: Internal lining of this boot is very comfortable and conforms to your foot over time.

EVA Footbed: A standard foam footbed that molds to the shape of the foot with pressure and normal use.

Integrated Heel Counter: A fancy name for a piece of plastic in the heel that gives extra support.

Low Profile Outsole: This boot allows the foot to sit closer to the binding and board for better feel and control of the board. There is still some shock absorption in there, so its still comfortable.

PVC/EVA shell/tongue materials: Scientific blend (PVC and EVA are both abbreviations of longer chemical names) offers more durability and comfort than other, uh, less scientific materials.

PVC Upper: The upper of this boot is a flexible PVC plastic, that feels about like a stiff leather. This material is highly waterproof and resists abuse well.

Soft Touch Laces: Softer material used so your hands and fingers don't get torn up while tightening the laces.

Steel Hardware: The eyelets and other critical parts of the lacing system are made of steel for increased wear.
