Levelninesports.com 2012 Composite Ski Poles

We're back with our home-brewed composite poles for 2012. This years' have an Argyle pattern and also a level9 logo flag stitched onto the velcro grip, so they look much cooler than last year's! The composite shaft is slightly heavier than aluminum but many times stronger, with a bit of flex to it so if you hit it against something it will pop back into shape, instead of breaking or becoming permanently bent (as aluminum will often do). Since we produce these poles, we can sell these composite poles in a price range that you'd normally only see aluminum offerings!

Composite Shaft: The shaft of this pole is made up of a fiberglass composite, which gives the pole incredible strength and flexibility. This does not have any carbon in it, so it is a little heavier than a carbon composite pole, but very cost effective.

Easy In Strap: A velcro strap that is easy to get in and out of, and can be adjusted to fit just about any size hand/wrist.

Sublimated Graphics: The graphics of this pole are not painted on. They are sublimated into the pole fibers (dyed then baked) so they won't just chip off like painted graphics.

Ice Breaker Tip: A sharp, yet durable tip doesn't slip on firm snow to get solid plants for turning and pushing along the flats. Keep in mind that they are sharp, so use caution during pole jousting matches.

Powder and Standard Baskets: Both are included with these poles, and can easily be switched back and forth, thanks to the threaded tip. Just unscrew and screw back on the ones you need for the day's conditions. Make sure they are screwed on all the way, and don't loose the other set, because once they are gone, they're gone and we don't have extras.

12.7mm Diameter Shaft: 12.7mm is the standard diameter of a set of ski poles, and since the shaft of these poles is totally straight, the poles can be cut-down to size if you get the poles and they are just too long or you want to give them to a skier who is shorter than you.
