Look PX 15/18 DIN Wide Brake Arms

Sale: $50.00
Retail: $60.00

When you have a Look or Coreupt PX 15 or PX 18, and need a wider brake than what they normally come with, these are the brakes that you'll need. Sure you can bend the narrow brakes, but you'll either break them, or they just won't work right and your skis will be really good at ghost riding. If that wasn't clear earlier, these will not work with PX12 bindings.

PX Race Bindings/Brakes: We are designating these as PX Race Series bindings/brake arms. To help avoid the confusion about which brake arms work with which bindings. All PX Race Series parts will have this description and be accessible from the link at the beginning of this paragraph.

Brake arms should always fit a ski with waist width equal to or less than the listed width of the arms. However, they usually will fit on skis 5mm wider with little difficulty (because the width at arms clearing the ski is usually wider than listed) and up to 10mm wider with slight brake arm stretching. Some shops will not like to stretch arms and some brands are easier to stretch than others. Tyrolia arms are relatively easy to stretch, Look arms are very prone to cracking. Stretching arms more than 10mm than intended is an iffy proposition.
Sometimes overlooked is that you do not want your brake arm width to be substantially wider than the width of the ski if you are an expert carver. In this case brakes sticking out can cause contact issues with the snow.

PX 15/18 Series: We are designating these PX15 series bindings/brake arms. To help avoid the confusion about which brake arms work with which bindings. All PX15 series parts will have this description and be accessible from the link at the beginning of this paragraph.
