He won't just be keeping up with dad in this boot, he'll be leaving dad in the dust! This model of Stratus boot lacks the inner liner, so it is a little softer and more forgiving for the entry level or ultra light riders. Even without the liner it is still comfortable and warm, making it a great choice of boots for first timers up to intermediates.

Permanent Liner: This boot comes with a NON removable liner. Non removable liners have the advantage of being smaller for the same size and the disadvantage of not being quite as easy to dry as removable liners.

EVA Footbed: A standard foam footbed that molds to the shape of the foot with pressure and normal use.

Integrated Heel Counter: A fancy name for a piece of plastic in the heel that gives extra support.

High-Density Rubber Outsole: rubber liner of this boot is extremely durable and dense for digging into the snow without slipping.

PU Upper: Highly waterproof, and a more cost effective alternative to leather.

Soft Touch Laces: Softer material used so your hands and fingers don't get torn up while tightening the laces.

Steel Hardware: The eyelets and other critical parts of the lacing system are made of steel for increased wear.
