Dial In Fit System: A dial at the lower back of the helmet can be turned tighter or looser to get a custom fit. This also improves the safety of the helmet, as a better fit means the helmet is less likely to slide around during a crash. Soft ear flaps: These ear flaps are soft, and not removable from the helmet. The soft design helps in comfort, and is a little easier to hear when compared to hard ear flap helmets. Mesh Covered Vents: The vents permanently stay open, but have a mesh layer to keep snow out while still providing breathability. CE EN 1077: This is a European standard that has performed testing on these helmets to ensure they function as designed, and that they exceed the minimum standards for snow sports. In other words, they dropped heavy objects on the helmets, and they didn't break. Padded Chin Strap: Thin padding under the chin prevents chafing and allows for proper fit of the helmet. Flexible goggle strap: A rubberized material used for the goggle strap at the rear of the helmet can stretch over goggle clips, and will prevent the goggles from slipping off the back of the helmet. |
