Wood Core: The standard core which has throughout time provided the best performance and durability. Each model may have it's own density level to help define flex and maximum speed but every wood core ski will be solid. PA 12 Topsheet: This topsheet is durable and sports silk-screened graphics. The colors won't bleed over time, so the graphics will look fresh even years down the road. 45-90 Degree Sidewall: The sidewall is custom routed to a 45 and 90 degree angle to provide strength for impacts, solid edging power, and helps reduce chipping at the topsheet. 5.5mm ABS Sidewall: Thick sidewall material providing strength and improved dampening while keeping the ski lighter. 45 HRC Steel Edges: These edges are hard without being brittle to give increased strength to the edge when landing on rails and rocks. 4400/3400 Extruded Base: This durable material requires little maintenance and holds wax for a long period of time, so you don't have to wax the board every day. Twin Tip Skis: Not just for spinning 360s in the park any more. These ski have turned up tails, aka twin tips. While they will definitely aid you in hurling those aforementioned 360s, they also do many other things. They make landing jumps and skiing backwards smoother, but they also ski better in trees and tight situations where the reduced running length add to mobility. In fact the only downside to twin tips is that they don't perform true full arced carving turns as well as traditional skis. But hey, the world has evolved to doing more than simple carving so maybe you should too. These are versatile skis that can be used for a variety of terrain. If you are buying a binding from us and we are mounting them, you have the option to choose for which riding style you would like us to mount them. The default is Freeride mount which is recommended for using these sticks for All Mountain skiing. Park mount is for terrain park skiing and will be forward of the all mountain mount. You can also choose for us to not mount the bindings. |
