Ideal Target Skier: Big Mountain Charger: Top speed, all the time, regardless of terrain, obstacles or children in the way, these skiers need stability on par with professional downhill racers. They are usually looking for long skis that are wide and heavy. Skier Ability: Advanced to Expert: Skipping the blue runs to get to the black runs, but sometimes a little cautious when it gets very steep, or some hesitation when your buddy says, ''You just have to clear those rocks or else you're toast.'' Speed: Very Fast: Skiing at this speed means keeping up with the best skiers on the mountain, while still maintaining control.
Wood Core: The standard core which has throughout time provided the best performance and durability. Each model may have it's own density level to help define flex and maximum speed but every wood core ski will be solid.
PA 12 Topsheet: This topsheet is durable and sports silk-screened graphics. The colors won't bleed over time, so the graphics will look fresh even years down the road. Sintered Base: The material used for the base is harder, and therefore more durable than other options (Extruded). This material should be waxed regularly for best performance. 45-90 Degree Sidewall: The sidewall is custom routed to a 45 and 90 degree angle to provide strength for impacts, solid edging power, and helps reduce chipping at the topsheet. 8.5mm ABS Sidewall: Super thick sidewall material to give greater strength for slamming against rails or rocks. 45 HRC Steel Edges: These edges are hard without being brittle to give increased strength to the edge when landing on rails and rocks. Twin tip skis: are where its at these days. Their versatility allows you to ski powder in the morning, bumps at midday, and session the park in the afternoon. These are the skis that have brought skiing back to life and kept the younger generation interested in this great sport. The turned up tail is designed for skiing backwards (switch), but for most people, it just looks cool. You can also spray your friends with the rooster tail of snow behind you. These are versatile skis that can be used for a variety of terrain. If you are buying a binding from us and we are mounting them, you have the option to choose for which riding style you would like us to mount them.
The default is Freeride mount which is recommended for using these sticks for All Mountain skiing. Park mount is for terrain park skiing and will be forward of the all mountain mount. You can also choose for us to not mount the bindings. |
