Free L9 Poles: A little love from L9 to you in the form of a free composite Levelninesports.com ski pole. A comparable pole retails for $60 and we sell these for $24 normally. This free pole is for a few select skis as a little sweetener on the already lowest price.
Axium 120 Bindings Included: These skis come with a set of Axium 120 bindings, an adjustable track style binding with a DIN Range of 3.5-12 which is acceptable for everyone except for children and very aggressive expert skiers. These bindings fit boots sized 265mm-377mm which is a very wide range, almost any size boot can be fitted to these bindings. Ideal Target Skier: Hard Pack Racer: When maximum speed is needed for racing or just to get some wind blowing through your hair (even though you should be wearing a helmet), these guys and girls look for the stiffer and more stable models. No real need to concern yourself with off trail performance, because these skiers think of the groomed runs as being surrounded by hot lava. Sandwich Construction (SW): SW means that the sides of the skis are a vertical wall rather the rounded Cap construction found on most skis. Since none of the skis material needs to be exerting force maintaining shape at the edges, SW skis are stiffer than their Cap counterparts. Most people find SW skis to be damper, that is more glued to the snow, superior at high speed GS turns and top notch at busting through crud or choppy snow.
Wood Core: The standard core which has throughout time provided the best performance and durability. Each model may have it's own density level to help define flex and maximum speed but every wood core ski will be solid.
Active Camber: In a world of early rise, rocker, and reverse camber, there still is a need for traditional full camber skis. The edge grip and stability is unmatched on groomed snow. This ski gets maximum edge to the snow, so it helps skiers skiing the firm stuff, or just prefer the 'feel' of traditional camber skis. Independent Pressuring System: Rossignol's IPS 'concept optimizes transmission of power applied by the boot to the individual right or left edge to boost power and grip. The concave profile amplifies this technology with higher sidewalls to apply even greater pressure to the edge. The concave shape reduces the skis weight by 100gr per pair.' Basically that means the profile of the ski was lightened up without giving up edge hold and power transmission, which is a good thing. Oversized Sidecut: This sidecut design from Rossignol is an exaggerated parabola that makes turning easier and more stable. All skis nowadays are 'shaped,' but these are 'very shaped,' you could say. Titanium Basalt Complex: In addition to having a wood core, these skis have a layer of basalt with titanium to add stiffness and strength without added too much to the weight. Metal Tip Protectors: These skis have rugged tip protectors made of metal that will help fight against chipping and damage to the tips, which is both a performance and cosmetic benefit. |
