 Magne-Traction: Magne-Traction has become the hottest technology in snowboarding. On a traditional snowboard, most of the pressure is pushed through the feet down and out to the widest part of the board. On a Magne-Traction board, there are many more points of contact between the board and the snow so pressure is more evenly distributed, allowing the rider to hold hard edges through crappier snow conditions and higher speeds than ever before.
 Amptek All Mountain Rocker: Rossignol's 60/40 Rocker/Camber profile, meaning 60% of the board's length is rockered, and 40% is a more traditional camber. The rockered length will float easier and turn easier, while the traditional camber length helps keep the edges firmly in the snow at high speeds. This family of rocker is great for the rider who spends time everywhere on the mountain.
Wood Core Construction: This board sports a wood core, which helps dampen a bumpy a ride, giving the board a smoother ride. The wood core also helps maintain the camber of the board so it stays springy and lively. Sintered 4400 Base: A blend of high-density (high speed!) sintered base technology and easy-to-tune 4400 extruded base gives the rider the best of both worlds. A tough and fast base that will only need to be tuned once per season (for most people).  ABS Sidewall: ABS provides better edge hold than other materials and construction types. It will also withstand impacts with rocks and terrain features (rails, boxes, your friend) more effectively when compared to cap style construction.
Kevlar Armor Struts: Kevlar rods inside the board run from the inner insert to the tip and tail, and Kevlar is a very high strength-to-weight ratio material. So basically adding Kevlar struts to the core of the board make it stiffer, poppier, and more durable without adding much weight.
