Rossignol 2012 Oneway Diamond 600 Alloy Cross Country Ski Poles

Sale: $14.00

These Oneway poles, a Finnish Nordic skiing giant, come to us through Rossignol and are the best Nordic ski poles we've ever sold (ok, so its only technically the 3rd model we've had, but still, these are #1). These poles use the Oneway Diamond 600 Aluminum Alloy shaft, hence the name. The Diamond 600 pole is a lightweight alloy pole that is strong than a pure Aluminum without being heavier. These poles feature a comfortsoft EVA grip and a traditional nylon strap. Included with these poles are standard XC touring baskets and tip protectors for the pavement (if you wanted to go roller skiing in the summer time, for example).

XC Poles General Info: Nordic poles are longer than alpine skiing poles. Skating or freestyle poles are usually longer than traditional XC poles or backcountry XC poles. Since XC poles are longer than downhill poles, weight is a more significant factor. For this reason most XC poles will be either Aluminum (cheap) or Carbon Fiber (expensive), as those are two extremely light yet strong materials.

Sizing of Nordic ski poles is from the floor to the armpit, though more experienced skiers may have their own personal preferences.

Aluminum Shaft: This ski has an Aluminum (or Aluminum Alloy) shaft, which is lightweight material with a very high strength to weight ratio.

Comfortable EVA Grip: You could be racing all day with a white knuckle grip on these babies and still be comfortable, no problem.

Adjustable Nylon Strap: Standard Nylon strap on the grips of these poles will keep the poles on your hands even if you drop them, and give a more convenient way to carry the poles (and skis) when you're not skiing.
