Rossignol 2012 Temptation 76 Women's Skis w/Saphir 110L Bindings

Rossi's 2012 Temptation 76 seems very similar to the Temptation 74...there is only 2mm of width difference between the two skis, right? Wrong! The Temptation 76 is similar, but it deviates from its little sister in a couple important ways. The first is that this ski comes with a Saphir 110 binding (as compared to the Saphir 90, a lighter and lower performance binding). And the second important change is that the Temptation 76s have an aramide laminate on the wood to stiffen it up and make it perform better at higher speeds.

Free L9 Poles: A little love from L9 to you in the form of a free composite Levelninesports.com ski pole. A comparable pole retails for $60 and we sell these for $24 normally. This free pole is for a few select skis as a little sweetener on the already lowest price.

Saphir 110L (the binding!) Features:
DIN: 3.5-11
Brake Width:90mm
Teflon AFD
Full Diagonal Toe
Boot Adjustment Range: 260mm-347mm

Ideal Target Skier: Progressing Intermediate: This skier is pushing the limits of the intermediate badge, and getting off trail and figuring out how to get comfortable at higher speeds through variable terrain.

Cascade Tip: This tip is defined as "[using] varying shapes of metal and fiberglass laminates at staggered lengths to provide a lighter extremity. The unique layered shapes control tip torsion which smoothes out turn initiation and improves full edge contact. The lighter weight tip improves the swing weight of the ski for quick and adaptable turn initiation." We could not possibly have described it any better than that.

Auto Turn Camber: Rossignol's Auto Turn rocker profile is 70% flat camber, and 30% early rise, which means that these skis are going to hold an edge strong, and should be skied mostly on hardpack--but with the raised tips, plowing through crud and powder is definitely do-able.

Wood Core: The standard core which has throughout time provided the best performance and durability. Each model may have it's own density level to help define flex and maximum speed but every wood core ski will be solid.

Aramide Laminate: In order to make the core stiffer and poppier, without adding weight with metal layers or denser wood, these skis have been given an aramide laminate.

Tip Rocker: This refers to the early rising of the tip to get the ski on top of the soft snow, rather than pushing through it. When the skis are held with the bases together, it will look like the tips are bent, and spread away from eachother. Tip rocker also helps skiers pivot the skis, making tight trees remarkably easy, and gives the ski a surf-like feel.

Tail Rocker: Just like Tip rocker, but in the tail, this feature allows the tails of the skis to release easier from the turn to give the skier the ability to turn the skis quicker in tight spots. It also allows skiers to dump speed by forcing the tails out and sliding sideways. The effective edge is reduced because of the tail rocker, so the skis will also be easier to control when forced to ski on the groomed slopes.

Square Tail: These skis have a square shaped tail, which adds stability to turns on hardpack as well as very steep terrain. Probably not a park ski, though :)

Metal Tip Protectors: These skis have rugged tip protectors made of metal that will help fight against chipping and damage to the tips, which is both a performance and cosmetic benefit.
