Let's be honest, you probably spend as much time walking to the slopes, hanging out in the lodge and taking a long lunch and a liquid lounge break as you do skiing. When you factor in lift lines, appreciating the views, and pointing your finger at the snowboarders sitting down in the middle of the run, it becomes apparent that you really want a nice padded warm ski boot not a performance engine. If that's not you, click the back button and find a better option.

70 Flex Index: This boot has a flex rating of 70, which is best suited for beginner and intermediate skiers. Softer boots will be more comfortable, but won't offer enough stability at higher speeds. Stiffer than 70 will give that stability, but start to get a little less comfortable.

360Degree Comfort Liner: A well padded liner for good cushioning and comfort. This is designed to be comfortable and warm, not for a tight responsive performance fit. Comfort is job #1.

Macro adjust ladder (SuperMacro): The tooth plate opposite the top buckles can be moved in or out for a huge range of adjustment, and to fit narrow to wide lower legs.

105mm Last Width: This boot has a 105mm width in the forefoot area, and is one of the widest available for ski boots. This width gives wide-footed skiers a chance to enjoy skiing, instead of cramping up and getting pressure points the whole day. Average width skiers will find that this width is very comfortable and warm.

3/4 Micro Adjust Buckles: 3 of the 4 buckles have micro adjustments to dial in the fit of the boots. The buckles are plastic to keep the weight down as well.

Polyolefine Shell: The shell is made up of a super-light, yet fairly durable plastic. It is a softer plastic, so it won't hold up to the heavy beatings of aggressive skiers, but that's not who its for anyway. Beginner and intermediate skiers will love shedding pounds off their feet!

Ergo Overlap: The shell has a unique overlap system that allows the foot to enter the boot easier, reducing strain on the foot, and making ski boots the highlight of the skiing experience, instead of the downfall.

Roxa Ski Boots: Roxa makes a full range of ski boots sold mostly in Europe. We are currently stocking the cruise and matrix boots, the cruise boots are for beginners and to mid range intermediates and the matrix boots are for the full spectrum of intermediate and lower advanced level skiers.

Note about buckling: The Roxas include fairly thick liners and it is better to buckle the lower buckles first which makes the upper buckles close more easily. This method also prevents the plastic overlaps from crossing, which is a common user error. Also make sure the upper latch are in the outer of the 3 positioning holes if you have bigger calves.
