Salomon 2012 Z12 Ti Ski Bindings

Salomon's Z12 Ti binding is a lightweight but reliable binding that works great on freeride setups because of its weight and low profile. The Ti stands for titanium, which is the about 20% lighter than steel while being more durable, which again, is a great feature for freeriders who want to float in powder and jump over tabletops without being weighed down by a heavy binding. The Z12s come in B80, B90, and B100 versions, which reference the brake width included with the binding, so make sure to choose the most appropriate brake width for your skis!

DIN: 4-12 - appropriate for most adult skiers and aggressive juniors

Brake Widths: 80mm, 90mm, and 100mm available

Automatic Wing Adjustment: The toe of this binding automatically adjusts to the slightly different width among ski boots. This means it is one less adjustment to fuss with. Just step into the binding and go skiing.

Duracoating: A protective seal on the binding to help reduce wear for looks and performance.

Titanium Heel Track/Lever: Titanium pieces in the heel are lighter than steel and more durable. Perfect!

Vertical Progressive Pivot: A controlled release for backwards an awkward falls. So even if the skier has a weird tumble, their ligaments will be safe and sound.

These are great bindings marketed to the freeride crowd. The low stand height and wide brake arms included are great features for the Park and Powder skiers who want better balance and have wider skis.
