The Shatter has a symmetrical sidecut (the tip and tail are the same dimension) for great park performance, but setback stance for all mountain performance. This board is best matched for intermediate to lower advanced riders that ride at moderate speeds, but like to push it every once in a while. Its versatility is tough to match, so don't be afraid to ride hard at the park one day then us it as your powder board on the soft snow days. The Silence Freeride series boards will give you high end performance at a great price. They perform equally well on the backside of the mountain as they do in the park. The construction and performance qualities match that of many high-end, well know brands out there, but the difference is your wallet will still have something left in it. Features: Triax laminate: Three layers of fiberglass laid at different orientations to provide even flex and torsional strength. Poplar/birch core: This blend of woods offers high strength to weight ratio, keeping the board light, yet strong. Stainless Steel inserts: High strength and long term corrosion resistance Cap 25 degree sidewall: Good power transmission with a forgiving ride, and a high resistance to chipping along topsheet edge Radial Sidecut Technology: The board will follow a straight line unless you apply pressure to the edge. It goes straight when you want it to, turns when you want it to. UV Lacquering topsheet: High gloss and crack/scratch resistance |
