Color: Grey with translucent turquoise buckles Features: Plastic ratchets: Lightweight and pretty strong, these are usually found on the price point bindings and for beginner/junior riders. Adjustable highback: The plastic support that runs from the back of the ankle to the calf, and it features an adjustment at the base to tilt the highback forward or back. The more forward positions allow quicker response when turning backside, and force the rider to maintain a more athletic stance the whole time. The back positions are more comfortable, but response is decreased. Plastic baseplate: This lightweight baseplate is a bit more shock absorption than aluminum baseplates and is almost as durable. It is found on any level of binding. Adjustable heel cup: The position of the heel cup can be adjusted by loosening or removing the two screws on both sides of the baseplate. Sliding the cup forward will help with the fit of boots on the small size of the range, and sliding it back will fit the larger boots. It also helps position the weight of the rider over the heel edge of the board to get better control when sliding and in heelside turns. 4x4 disc: The standard hole pattern accepted by the world of snowboarding (everyone except Burton) is the 4x4 pattern. Almost all bindings have discs with the 4x4 pattern. This binding comes with the 4x4 disc to go with any brand of board, again, except Burton. 4 Hole Disc: This binding has the standard 4 hole pattern to fit any snowboard, except Burton. |
