FreeFlex Plus: A very versatile system to alter your bindings performance depending upon needs and taste. With a twist of a screw you can turn and activate the FreeFlex Plus system. Unactivated the toe and heels perform as traditional fixed position bindings which cause the ski to be stiffer underfoot. When activated the heel is allowed to 'float' backwards with pressure thus enabling the ski to flex and deflex naturally uninhibited by the restrictive nature of fixed position bindings. Though this is ideal for racers who may want to remain less flexible in GS type skiing and more flexible and responsive in Slalom type skiing, it is also great for recreational skiers to experiment effortlessly with different skiing characteristics without having to purchase extra gear. Full Diagonal Toe: Intelligent 180degree release action both horizontally and vertically. Maximum safety in backwards crash situations. TRP Toe: A 4 roller system in the toe piece which allows a smooth release and 30% higher retention without compromising safety. It also helps absorb little shocks so they are not all transferred to the skier, also reducing premature releases. ABS - Anti Blocking System: A rollable toe pad enabling no friction release for perfect release regardless of boot wear, icing up or dirt. Duracoating: A protective seal on the binding to help reduce wear for looks and performance. Race Pro Heel: This heelpiece looses the diagonal release feature, but gains a more solid interface with the ski. The heads of the screws are much closer to the ski, reducing the amount of torque placed on them. TH 15/18 Series: We are designating these TH series bindings/brake arms. To help avoid the confusion about which brake arms work with which bindings. All TH series parts will have this description and be accessible from the link at the beginning of this paragraph. |
