10,000 Waterproof rating: This is a very high waterproof rating, found on the best outdoor gear available. It will keep you dry even in a downpour of rain, and still has the ability to breathe so it doesn't feel like a garbage bag. There are higher rated fabrics, but for average, even above average users, the 10k is more than enough to get the job done. 10,000g Breathability: Not quite like a cotton sweatshirt, but not a rubber suit either, this fabric still does a great job of transporting moisture away from the body so its not a sauna every time it warms up a bit. Nylon: Lightweight, fast-drying synthetic fiber. Storm flap: Extra material covering the zipper is secured in place with velcro, and helps keep the wind and water from entering through the zipper.
