Bern Helmets

We offer two styles of helmets in a few different models based on the Zip Mold and the Hard Hat with Brock foam.
The Zip Mold helmets are the G and the Cougar, which are lighter in weight than their counterparts. They have a soft shell design, which absorbs more energy on impact than hard shell helmets. They will actually deform and even crack in the event of a hard fall. Why in the world would anyone buy a helmet that is designed to break? It breaks so your skull doesn't, got it?

The Hard Hat version, comprised of the Macon model, has just that, a hard shell. They are more durable than the Zip Molds, but are slightly heavier. If you are very hard on your gear (throwing it in the back of the car instead of putting it in a bag), then you might consider the Hard Hat helmets.

No matter which helmet you choose, just remember that you can go biking in the morning, snowboarding mid-day, and skateboarding at night, all without changing your helmet. Yes, it is sweet and that is why we sell them here.
