The Team Omeglass is a real life race ski, for kids. So if you are not a racer, or if you do not ski like a racer, stay away from these. These skis are meant for speed and need proper technique to be able to get the ski to perform at the level they were intended. They are not all mountain skis, and nor are they good bump skis.
This model has a lightweight cap construction, so it will serve lighter weight racers better. The short turn radius makes Slalom type turns easily, but can be manipulated by good skiers to ski GS style also.
The target skier has a racing background and is likely a better skier than most of the adults on the mountain. The skier is at home skiing fast on rock-hard snow.
