Description
The Dynastar Legend 4800 is a scaled down version of the 8000, but that doesn't mean it isn't to be taken lightly. It performs best (and makes you look like a pro) when the speeds exceed the average level. This ski has sidewall and cap construction to get the benefits of both. It still shares most of the same features of the 8000, but with a narrower platform. The advantage of this ski over the 8000 is the increased agility on the groomed runs, yet It still has a wide enough tip to float through the powder and crud.
The target skier for the Legend 4800 is intermediate to advanced that spends 50% of the time on groomers and 50% of the time off trail. This skier should have good technique to handle the weight and stiffness of these skis. This is a great ski for east coast skiers that make an annual trip out west, and really need a ski that performs best on groomers and second best in powder.

A ski of this length would typcially used by a skier about 78 inches tall. Aggressive skiers or those looking for good off trail performance may go longer, beginners may go shorter.
