Fischer Skis

We feature Fischers powder specific skis.

It was inventiveness and the pioneering spirit that drove the founding of Fischer by Josef Fischer Senior in 1924. Sledges and handcarts were made in the first two years and, despite all the difficulties Josef faced, he later realized his vision of the largest ski manufacturing company in the world. This entrepreneurial spirit and the wealth of ideas still remain the forces that drive the people at Fischer in their daily work - developing, marketing and selling first-class sports equipment.

All Fischer's products are characterized by high quality and state-of-the-art technologies. High tech, top quality and an eye for detail are their passion. Their rigid target group focus begins as early as the development phase, guaranteeing their customers the right and the best product for all requirements. Economy (the economic use of resources), ecology (protecting health and the environment) and awareness of thier social responsibility secure the future of the company and everything that goes with it.

We only carry a couple models from Fischer currently, which are the Hybrid and the Prohete. But we hope to pick up more of their skis in the future.

The Hybrid is a great ski for beginner to intermediate skiers. It's incredibly light and comes with an integrated binding which means the binding is able to flex with the ski where traditional bindings do not. The integrated binding gives the skier a more easy and full carving or turning experience.

The Prohete is one of Fischer's award winning powder skis. It is a twin tipped ski that has a very light wood core that provides optimal flex for powder landings. It's extremely versatile and lets face it, a blast to ski on!
