Wow! This freeride powder twin-tip is an incredible value for top of the line performance. Head quality construction make this durable ski hard to beat. This ski is so versatile and stylish it is hard to go wrong with the choice and deal. Call this one a powder or tree ski for the east coast, and a do-anything, go-anywhere ski out west. Its fat enough to handle deep snow, but with enough pop to carve turns out on groomers. The wood core helps keep the ski stable at higher speeds, and has a good dampening quality to smooth out the ride.

Skiing style: Good, bad, whatever.

The Mojo 90 is a great all mountain ski. Its not a carving ski but if you aren't trying to win any races you can still have fun making turns on the groomers. It's not a pure powder ski, but it is a great ski for any off trail condition. This was one of our special purchases, this ski is that good and the price is that low. Intermediates looking for a great ski to use mainly off trail can safely purchase these, advanced and expert skiers can use them anywhere.
Our other special deal is the Monster 77. It is also an all mountain ski with a more on trail leaning, so if your carving time is more pronounced (especially high speed) and your powder/crud/trees time a little less, go check those out.

What do I say about this ski? It can literally do everything. It is made for complete abuse in all conditions, there is literally nothing this ski cannot do. Yes it can carve. I know it is fat, but it is also extremely maneuverable. Everyone has their own opinion of course, mine is: if you are a mortal, you do most of your skiing out west, and you want no limits to what you will do on any particular day, this is the dream ski. Non mortals should check out monster 88s or mojo 103s and 105s.- Rich

Twin Tip Skis: Not just for spinning 360s in the park any more. These ski have turned up tails, aka twin tips. While they will definitely aid you in hurling those aforementioned 360s, they also do many other things. They make landing jumps and skiing backwards smoother, but they also ski better in trees and tight situations where the reduced running length add to mobility. In fact the only downside to twin tips is that they don't perform true full arced carving turns as well as traditional skis. But hey, the world has evolved to doing more than simple carving so maybe you should too.

In my warped mind this is my skinny ski in my quiver. I like this ski a lot, it skis groomers well and they did ok in the moguls. They were good in the trees and in tight spots. Overall this is a fun ski that may not be the best at anything but it can do anything and does it well. Its fun and durable. Great ski for those looking for a one ski quiver, but don't want something to wide that you can't carve the groomers.

Loving these skis..solid front side...smooth turns...balanced...stable in many conditions...great price..delivers when you push them..dominating yet responsive..A refreshing ski to grab in the east..;)

Maybe the most underrated one-ski quiver available.

This is an all mountain for skiers out west. It is very easy to ski, even on hardpack, and one of the more versitile skis out there. I have used these several times on all types of terrain, from 18 inch powder days to park and rails. So, yeah, its versitile.

I USED TO RIDE THIS SKI ON THE EAST IN THE POW AT JAY PEAK! PERFECT FOR ALL AROUND SKI IF YOUR INTO PARK AND POWDER! EVEN THOUGH THE 90MM UNDERFOOT, ITS STILL VERY CONTROLLABLE IN THE PARK IF YOUR TRYING TO GET SOME TRICKS DONE. THE 90MM UNDERFOOT ALSO FEELS MORE SOLID SLIDING A RAIL THEN A NORMAL 75MM OR 80MM UNDERFOOT PARK SKI, MORE SURFACE FOR SLIDING!
-Kevin (L9 park rider) April 28, 2009 11:34AM

Ridiculously versatile. They carve surprisingly easily, float great in powder and bust through crud well and also handle the moguls better than just about anything with its girth. Being twin tipped and very durably built they also perform well in the park.. though top level parkites may be turned off by a 90mm wide ski. This may be the best true all mountain ski I've skied (and I've skied a ton.) Pressed to say who wouldn't like this ski the only group that really comes to mind is those skiing chiefly eastern hardpack (aka ice.)

Do you live in the West? Do you like to ski powder? Are you looking for a one-ski quiver that can tackle powder, trees, terrain park, groomed runes, and whatever else? If you answered yes to more than one of these questions, the Mojo 90 needs to be in the discussion.

I'm 5'10, 210lbs. The skis I have now are a 177 carving ski, I'm looking for a good powder and backcountry ski (on a budget) would 186 be too long?
-Ken December 30, 2009 6:50PM

186 is great for powder and backcountry.. it gets to maybe be a bit difficult in tight trees and is not as easy to handle on the groomers.

hey i'm 15 160 lbs and 6ft i want a pair of park skiis that also work for all mtn use...would these work for me?
-david December 24, 2009 6:25PM

Yes, either this ski or the liberty hazmat in 164 would be great choices.. if you were just using them out of the park they may be a little short, but combined with park usage mid 160s is right on. You could also look at the phil larose in 171cm

hey i am 16 6'3" 210lbs i am a intermidiat to advanced skier, and wat an all mountain ski that i can use on petty much anything, i like back country but i also love bombing groomers and carving some nice pow if we get it. i was woundering if u think this would be a good ski for me, and if not what would be a good ski, i dont have a very big bugdget, and i also wanted to know what bindings would be best if i ended up getting them. thanks alot - Ben
-ben barter December 11, 2009 12:40PM

This ski would be great for you... Its a little longer than ideal, but pretty sure you will get used to it quickly, especially since you like the off trail skiing. The best binding to go with it is the Mojo 12.

What binding do you recommenend, Mojo14, railflex14 and do they come with brskes?
-Tony November 16, 2009 6:17PM

Yes they come with appropriate brake arms.. for mostly off trail i recommend the mojo 12 or 15, for a mix of on and off trail a railflex 12 or 14. The mojo a lower stand height which is a small advantage in powder but a disadvantage on groomers

I am 167cm and it says 166cm, would these skis be good for me? Because it says 70-73 inches tall. I want twin tip skis but i can't find any my size that are male skis with a reasonable price. these skis are the best I've seen so far.
-Brett November 07, 2009 11:33PM

Buying a ski of your height is very long. This would normally only be appropriate if you are looking for a powder ski or are an expert skier. If neither of these apply then you should probably stick with a more standard length of around mouth height for upper intermediates/advanced and shorter for lower intermediates. We have great priced Liberty Twin Tip ski in all sizes which may fit you better.

Can you get this in 176cm?
-F.C. November 03, 2009 11:17PM

Sorry no, none available. We do have Sweet Fat Thangs in 176cm. They are the same skis but with butterflies :(
